About Donna
Donna Bryant MSN, RN, is an herbalist, holistic nurse, and international educator with over 25 years of experience in herbalism. She was a key member of the leadership team that organized the NE Annual Women’s Herbal Conference and the International Herb Symposium, with Rosemary Gladstar. These gatherings have inspired and educated generations of herbal practitioners. Donna has co-led Plant Lover’s Journeys to Ireland, England, and Italy with Rosemary, creating immersive experiences that connect individuals to the plants, people, history, and culture of these regions.
Her favorite workshops are hands-on and heart-centered, places where learning happens through doing. Participants are invited to work directly with plants, building practical skills in time-honored herbal preparations while exploring the historical traditions that shaped them. Drawing on her background in nursing, she thoughtfully bridges these ancestral practices with modern, evidence-based research, sharing current studies that support the safe and effective use of herbal medicine. The goal is simple and powerful: to leave feeling confident, inspired, and capable of creating remedies of their own.
She fell in love with soapmaking as a natural extension of her work —an everyday ritual transformed into an act of care. Each small batch is made with intention, using only sustainably sourced ingredients. For ethical reasons, her soaps are entirely palm-oil free. Thoughtfully formulated, they are tailored to support different skin types, bringing both nourishment and mindfulness to everyday self-care.
Today, her work stands at the intersection of nursing, herbal tradition, and mindful craft. Whether she’s teaching, formulating, or stirring a fresh batch by hand, her intention remains the same: to create offerings that honor the body, respect the earth, and remind us that healing can be both practical and beautiful.
